SPI
The Betalight SPI was initially designed in conjunction with the British MOD to provide the soldier with a multi-purpose self-powered light source.

SPI is supplied complete with a neck cord and clip attachment and the robust, lightweight design makes it remarkably easy to use.  Simply rotating the outer sleeve gives four lights from a single source – no power supply required. SPI provides a controlled light source ensuring maximum security against detection.

Illumination is provided by Betalight (GTLS), a glass capsule internally coated with phosphor and filled with Tritium gas, activating the phosphor particles.

SPI has a low level light source ideal for soldiers to read maps, signs, fuses and sight graduations without losing the advantages of night vision.
